With the recent emergence of Oropouche virus (OROV) as a potential public health concern in the US, AMCA is working with the CDC to collect surveillance data on the primary vector, Culicoides paraensis.
AMCA needs districts that are willing to place modified CDC light traps each week and help determine the distribution of potential OROV vectors within the US.
