Honorary Member

 Any individual who has rendered exceptionally distinguished service in the field of mosquito control and related work may be accorded special recognition by election to honorary membership in the VMCA. Nomination for this honor must be justified in writing and submitted to the executive board for review. The executive board shall be required to vote unanimously to confirm the honorary membership nominee. Honorary members shall receive the VMCA newsletter, pay no dues, and enjoy the same privileges as regular members.

At the 2022 Annual Business Meeting, membership voted unanimously to award lifetime registration to VMCA annual conferences for award recipients.
